Preparing our kickstarter
Recently we have been working hard preparing for our Kickstarter campaign. We’ve been doing a lot of research and testing out different marketing and sales techniques through our social medias, and have been trying to steadily build a following in preparation for our launch.
We have been getting our creative juices flowing by designing graphics for our brand that we have been testing on our site and social medias. We also created some merchandise so that we could test our sales channels on our site. This was a big learning experience but we have been enjoying the process immensely. It is so exciting for us to be creating real tangible products that we get to see customers enjoying and has been getting us super pumped for when we get to do this with our controllers on Kickstarter! It’s also super fun to test out potential secondary products that we can launch alongside our controllers on Kickstarter such as pins and stickers, and to see what people like and don’t like. As our co-founder Eibhlin is also our graphic designer, we are able to do all of our branding artwork in house which means that we have a lot more room to experiment and adapt to feedback.
We have also started to engage a lot more with potential customers. It has always been so important to us to involve the disabled community in our business as much as possible. We want to make sure that we are focused on our mission to make gaming more accessible for everyone, and by constantly engaging with disabled gamers we can stay on track to make our goal a reality.
As we are learning more and more about the process of launching a Kickstarter campaign our to-do list keeps growing and growing but we are loving every part of it and are so excited to keep going and get our controllers out there!
